Third World Debt Relief

Bono, Six Pence None the Richer, and other celebrities have been screaming for debt relief for third world debtor nations since, seemingly, before I was born. They have ignored American debt relief mounting to tens of billions over the past ten years.

I hope these artists, whom I respect greatly, will finally acknowledge the beneficence of the G8 for forgiving the debt of Benin, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guyana, Honduras, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Mozambique, Nicaragua, Niger, Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.

Forty Billion Dollars is big a write-off. We can all pray that this action brings relief to the people suffering poverty, crime, and illness in those countries.
